SCSL Fall Ball

Fall Ball is a fun and educational clinic put on for 4 weeks each Fall by the coaches and board members of South County Softball League. Fall Ball is free of charge, and open to all players who participated in the 2025 season and new players for 2026.
The purpose of this clinic is to allow our players to continue their rec softball experience with practice drills, skill sessions, and scrimmages, and to prepare for the 2026 Regular Season.

We will be using the 2026 League Ages for Fall Ball divisions, see below:

8u Sessions

Begins Thursday, Sept 11. Last session on Sunday, Oct 5

6:00 - 7:30 pm      Thursdays

2:00 - 3:30 pm      Sundays

10u Sessions

Begins Tuesday, Sept 9. Last session on Sunday, Oct 5

6:00 - 7:30 pm       Tuesdays

4:00 - 5:30 pm       Sundays

11-17u Sessions - Begins Thursday, Sept 11. Last session on Sunday, Oct 5

8:00 - 9:30 pm       Thursdays

6:00 - 7:30 pm       Sundays

The 5th week (October 7, 9, and 12) will be used as "Rain Dates" for any missed sessions.

SCSL Pitchers Clinic

The Pitchers Clinic is at Darrell Shell Park on 4 consecutive Monday evenings, starting Sept 8 at the following times:

6:00 - 7:00 pm       League Age 8-10 (Born 2015 - 2017)
7:00 - 8:00 pm       League Age 11-17 (Born 2014 or earlier)

SCSL Clinics are free of charge, and open to all players who participated in the 2025 Season.
Note: We are using the League Ages for the upcoming 2026 Season for this clinic (see below).

The Pitchers Clinic provides girls who have pitched before, and girls who have never pitched at all, but want to learn about it, a space to practice with instruction from top pitching coaches. Girls will learn warm-up and practice drills, and will learn techniques to improve accuracy and speed.

All pitchers must bring someone to catch for them. Balls are provided. Gloves are not.

The Catchers Clinic is at Darrell Shell Park on 4 consecutive Monday evenings, starting Sept 8 at the following times:

6:00 - 7:00 pm       League Age 8-10 (Born 2015 - 2017)
7:00 - 8:00 pm       League Age 11-17 (Born 2014 or earlier)

The Catchers Clinic provides girls who have played the Catcher position before, and girls who never have, but want to learn about it, a space to practice with instruction from top Catcher coaches. Girls will learn warm-up and practice drills, and will learn techniques to stay safe and improve their game skills.

All Catchers should bring their own protective gear. Gear will be available for those who need it.
