Teams may have up to 3 Coaches/Staff, and up to 15 Players on their roster.
Teams may be regular season teams, combined teams, all-star teams, or multi-area teams (see below).
Players
All players who participate in the RAYSA tournament must have been on a regular season RAYSA roster that should be confirmed by the area of play.
RAYSA Tournament teams may come in many varieties as long as all players were on a RAYSA Area - Regular Season team this season. Teams may be:
- A complete Regular Season team from one area
- A combined team with players from 2 or more Regular Season teams in one area
- A combined team with players from 2 or more RAYSA areas (this is allowed if there is no team in the same age division in the players' home area, or if there is a team, but they do not have room for another player)
Players are permitted to play up to the next age division for the 2025 RAYSA Tournament teams, if and only if, they have completed the oldest year of their current division so will age up the following year, and if there is no team or room for them on a team in their current division (ie: an 8 year old who will age up to 10u next year would be eligible to play on a 10u tournament team this year).
Tournament Play
The RAYSA Local Rules for each age division will be enforced as written during the tournament, supplemented by the Tournament Rules.
The RAYSA Tournament is a Double-Elimination format for each age division. Each Team will play a minimum of 2 games. Games will continue per the Tournament Brackets until winners are determined in each age division.
Only rostered players (up to 15) and team staff (up to 3) are permitted inside the fenced areas.
All tournament dates and game schedules are subject to changes due to weather and facility conditions. Moyer Sports Complex will make all decisions regarding weather and facility conditions.
Games may be moved in order to complete the Tournament Brackets, and Dbl Headers are possible.Teams must be prepared to play at both time slots each night of the Tournament!
Tournament rosters may be changed until the "coin flip" for the team’s first game.

We are looking forward to a great week of softball! The Tournament is much earlier this year, beginning right after the last week of regular season games. Please note that the Tournament will start on a Sunday, and these will be mostly 10u games, with 13u games added to fill the schedule as necessary. 17u games, and all or most 13u games, should start on Monday evening, weather depending.
Visit www.RAYSAball.com for Tournament information and updates.
Coaches should contact John Cummings if they have any questions about the RAYSA Tournament.
